Morning
You arise in the morning to get your daughter ready for school, and as you drop her off you are glad to live in a place where she can attend such an excellent school. While stopping by the local coffee shop for your morning cup, you turn your face toward the rising sun – the sunrises continue to grow more and more beautiful every day!

At Work
As you enter the large facility, you are reminded of all of the benefits of working at a not-for-profit SNF – everyone working here is passionate about what they do and patient care always comes first! Treatments go well, and your afternoon Medicare meeting with the DON and care team is excellent because you and the therapy team have built such a strong reputation in the area for high quality rehab that new referrals are coming in every day!   Your program development initiatives have paid off and you’re grateful again for the support you received from your SYNERTX Area Manager to implement those.  You also love that SYNERTX doesn’t have a cookie-cutter approach to rehab – your Area Manager trusted you to decide what programs would make the most sense at your facility!  As Team Lead. your day is busy but very rewarding.  You carry a full caseload on top of managing RUGs and ensuring the program is running smoothly.  The good news is that your SYNERTX Staffing Coordinator can always get you PRN help if you get swamped!  With a 5-year old at home, quality of life matters and it’s important to you to not have to work overtime.  Some of your long-term patients are getting discharged today, and you say goodbye to them as you leave for the day, a smile on your face.

Evening
After you get home, you get your daughter ready for the babysitter. You head out for a date because it’s Cinco de Mayo, and there’s a fantastic celebration tonight! With Mexico nearby, you’re always guaranteed excellent food and entertainment.  Everything is alive with excitement, and you are happily exhausted when you head home for the evening. As you head for bed, you wonder whether you should take your daughter to the beach at South Padre Island or to the Gladys Porter Zoo this weekend.
