At SYNERTX, we reward and invest in our therapists by promoting from within for the majority of our leadership and management positions. Our Staff therapists can progress to Lead roles, where they take ownership of their discipline, coordinate inter-disciplinary communication and ensure optimal delivery of patient care.

Additionally, we highly encourage Staff or Lead therapists to apply to become a Rehab Coordinator or even Backup Rehab Coordinator in their facility, which enrolls them into a structured training program that includes the following:

  • Client relationship management
  • Medicare rules, regulations and reimbursement
  • Sophisticated patient scheduling techniques
  • Organizational best practices
  • Computerized billing and documentation

Our Rehab Coordinators are the liaison between SYNERTX and the facility, representing the rehab team at facility meetings, managing RUG levels, and ensuring the overall performance of the rehab program.

Our successful Rehab Coordinators are approached to become Regional Managers, overseeing the performance of a cluster of facilities within a specified geographic region. This includes leading client start-ups and ensuring the performance of the region’s rehab programs through client and therapist relationship management and operational problem-solving.

Our Area Managers perform similar responsibilities to Regional Managers, but with a larger territory.

SYNERTX Rehab Coordinators, Regional Managers and Area Managers have the unique benefit of continuing to treat a caseload in their home facility. Therapists tell us time and again that they have gone to school to become therapists, and they appreciate the opportunity to remain hands-on with patient care.

Finally, our Director of Clinical Operations oversees the entire company’s Area Managers, Regional Managers and therapy teams out in the field to ensure SYNERTX policies and procedures are implemented effectively.

Taking a leadership role with SYNERTX is unique: We take the most burdensome management tasks onto our shoulders! Our coordinators and managers don’t have to hire new employees, schedule therapists, or fill out reams of billing paperwork. Our centralized recruiting, staffing and billing structure allows our managers to spend the majority of their time on what matters most – taking care of our patients and therapists!
